Ordering and measuring torsion springs:


1. WINDING: Right Hand or Left Hand

2. WIRE SIZE: Use Spring Wire Gauge or measure 10 or 20 coils.

3. INSIDE DIAMETER: Measure I.D. to nearest 1/16"

4. LENGTH OF SPRING WIRE: Measure overall length of the spring, not including the cones

Tips

-Be sure to measure springs only when they are NOT under tension

-Always measure to the nearest 1/16”

-Be very cautious as spring systems can be dangerous
